Opening Exhibit of the “The Trailside Impressionist” – new works by Nina Cobb Walker. Nina’s dramatic West Texas land formations are rich in surface texture, local color and fascinating location stories. Her Trailside Views express her remarkable exploration of the remote and wild Rio Grande Valley landscape. Nina is a respected and accomplished student, teacher, mentor and progressive impressionist painter and a joy to meet. She is a native of the Southwest and resides in El Paso. Please join us during First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg from 5 to 8 pm on March 2 to meet Nina and enjoy local wine, hors d’oeuvres and our Grandma’s famous coffee cake.
Also introducing a new line of jewelry by a New Orleans artisan who designs her pieces using recycled guitar strings and guitar picks donated by New Orleans musicians. Portions of the artist’s profits are donated to The New Orleans Musicians Clinic. The jewelry is lovingly handmade in the USA and eco-friendly.
Cate Zane Gallery features a contemporary setting exhibiting 19th-20th century landscape paintings and the current work of Texas Artists. Also represented are local, Texas, North American and European Artisan Jewelry Designers featuring unique and highest quality goldsmith, silversmith and gemstone creations.
