Dr. Russ Kane will debut his new book “The Wineslinger Chronicles – Texas on the Vine” at Texas Vineyards & Beyond. Dr. Kane divides his time between Houston and Fredericksburg. He has received two awards for writing excellence. Dr. Kane has covered Texas Wines and Cuisine since 1998 and he has participated as a judge in TWGGA’s Lone Star International Wine Competition for many years. Dr. Kane’s book is full of stories starting with the Franciscan priest who planted North America’s first vineyard to he modern-day growers and entrepreneurs who have overcome obstacles to see Texas emerge as a top wine producing region.
