4th Annual Hill Country Food Truck Festival
Jun 24 2017 to Jun 24 2017
The Fourth Annual Hill Country Food Truck Festival featuring a dozen food trucks, ten Texas Hill Country wineries and a lineup of live Texas music, will take place from noon to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, in Luckenbach Texas. Last year almost 3,000 folks enjoyed what could be best described as an iconic summer day in the Texas Hill Country – delicious food, Texas wine, ice cold beer and great Americana music! All in a legendary place – Luckenbach Texas!
Grounds admission tickets are $15 per adult; children 12 and under are free. The Texas Hill Country Food Truck Festival is a family friendly event, and dogs on leashes are welcome. Plenty of free parking on-site. Tickets are available online at www.luckenbachtexas.com or at the gate the day of the event starting at 11:00 a.m. The event goes on rain or shine!
The food trucks will be selling their delectable meals and treats from noon to 8:00 p.m. (or until sold out). Come for lunch or dinner. Event organizers curate the trucks so attendees have a variety of cuisines to choose from. Last year, one of the more popular food trucks was Cousins Maine Lobster, and they are scheduled to return to the festival. Also in attendance will be Cheesy Jane’s, Backwoods BBQ, Slider Provider, Hippie Momma’s, Stouts Pizza, Top Notch Diner, Teka Molino, Get Fried Cafe, Wheelie Gourmet, Hitchin Post Steakhouse, SaWeet Cupcakes, Tikiz Shaved Ice and JustTeaBar.
The “Weingarten” will be open from noon to 8:00 p.m. with ten Texas Hill Country wineries selling by the glass and bottle. Texas craft beers (and others) will be for sale throughout the day and evening at the Luckenbach Texas bar. Several tents offering shaded seating for dining will be available in the food truck court area. Live Americana music will be featured from noon to 11:00 p.m. under the giant oak trees. Guests may bring their own chairs to guarantee a comfy seat for the full day of music!
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Texas Center for Wine and Culinary Arts (TCWCA), an approximately 15,000 sq. ft. facility which will be built in Fredericksburg, the hub of the wine industry in the Texas Hill Country. The TCWCA is dedicated to the awareness, understanding and celebration of Texas food, wine and agriculture through educational programing and hands on experiences.
