Memorial Day Weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, and in Fredericksburg that means lots of events, a Crawfish Festival, tons of live music, patio-weather at restaurants and wineries, plus plenty of things for kids to do around town.

Peaches

The last weekend in May also kicks off the Gillespie County peach season. And roadside stands and orchards are will offer the sweet summertime fruit, along with lots of other local produce.
