Fredericksburg Honored by Southern Living Magazine Readers MAR 26 2018
The April 2018 issue of the magazine highlighted Fredericksburg’s shopping that features “more than 150 shops and galleries, many in fine old stone buildings along Main Street.” Southern Living also noted the town’s “well-preserved German landmarks,” which make it one of the top places in the nation to learn German heritage and culture.
In addition, the article praised Fredericksburg’s walkability, noting “the multitude of inns and bed and breakfasts within walking distance of restaurants, live music, and biergartens.” Southern Living, also spotlighted the area’s wineries, which “rise up from the idyllic pastures alongside U.S. 290.”
