Texas Hill Country Named to “Best in the U.S.” List by Lonely Planet DEC 16 2016
The Texas Hill Country was named Number 8 on the Lonely Planet’s “Best in the US” list – noting the Texas Hill Country Wine Region as one of “the top 10 most exciting places to visit in the United States in the year ahead.”
Lonely Planet went on to say, “Texas may not be the first place you think of when it comes to wine, but the Lone Star State is doing its darnedest to create some of the best varietals in America outside of the west coast.”
We couldn’t agree more- Fredericksburg is the epicenter of the Texas Hill Country Wine Region, with more than 40 wineries & wine tasting rooms, a walkable urban wine trail and more than a dozen wine tour companies calling Fredericksburg home.
