Bestfest features all-you-can-eat German food OCT 16 2012
Did the German food at Oktoberfest leave you hankering for more? Bestfest can cure that.
Bestfest is an annual specialty beer and sausage event—complete with live polka bands and dancing—held at Marktplatz. This year Bestfest will be held Saturday, October 20 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
That gives you 12 solid hours to get your German food fix!
General admission includes all-you-can-eat sausage with sauerkraut , German potato salad and tea or water. Specialty beers are available for additional charge.
Did we say it’s “all you can eat”? Come hungry. Then polka the calories away to the tunes of Fritz Hodde and the Seven Dutchmen Orchestra.
There also will be big-ticket-item raffle drawings as well as kids’ games and activities.
Admission is $10 for ages 14 and older; $5 for ages 5-13; and free admission for ages 4 and younger.
All profits will benefit local charitable works and scholarships.
