First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg OCT 05 2012
Fine art galleries participating in First Friday Artwalk will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5. Visitors have a chance to meet with gallery artists, view demonstrations and more. Information and a list of participating galleries can be found at the Visitor Information Center at 302 East Austin.
Below is a sample of the exciting exhibitions you will see.
- Monochromatic Madness at Fredericksburg Art Guild
Art guild members create “madness” in monochromatic colors and values. The show’s opening reception will be held on Friday, October 5, during First Friday Art Walk. - Art Show at Fredericksburg Art Gallery
During the month of October, the Fredericksburg Art Gallery will feature artists David Camp, C.S. Talley and Guy Morrow. Join the artists for a special opening artist reception Friday, October 5, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. during First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg. - Pottery Demonstrations at Artisans
Artisans at Rocky Hill present pottery demonstrations featuring a number of their gallery artists Friday, October 5, from noon until 8:00 p.m. during First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg, and again Saturday, October 6, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Artisans at Rocky Hill is located at 234 West Main. - “Natures InSpiration” Art Show and Artist Reception at Insight Gallery
