Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course sets new standard for municipal golf courses SEP 28 2012
Following a nine-month, nearly $2 million renovation, the Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course reopened September 28.
Course improvements and renovations at the 18-hole, par 71, 6,686-yard course includes a new staging area for tournaments, online tee-time booking, re-contoured fairways with industry standard 419 Bermuda, industry-leading Champion Ultra Dwarf on the greens, new golf carts, concrete cart paths and an updated grill. Course also has a golf shop and a meeting/tournament room.
The course is open six days a week, Tuesdays through Sundays, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
